This 2 tone artificial grass is perfect for larger areas where natural grass is hard to maintain or grow.  Ir requires half filling with sand to weight the carpet and keep the fibres stood upright, which negates the need to have to fix down the carpet at the edges. Very similar to Sowgreen our domestic lawn product but really for areas where only moderate to light use is expected (unlike Sowgreen where heavy use can be tolerated). Target market is property developers, commercial premises, councils with verges, caravan sites, tourist areas, schools etc.

Installation:

UrbanTurf Landscape is designed to replace natural grass. To that end the area for installation should be cleared of existing natural turf and the base prepared using either stone or sharp sand to within 15mm of finished height (this allows 15mm of the product to protrude above the ground height as would be achieved when laying natural turf). We would recommend the use of a weed membrance, prior to rolling out UrbanTurf Landscape. Any seams can be easily secured using a specialist adhesive and tape (which can be supplied). If carried out correctly seams are not visible after installation. UrbanTurf Landscape should then be infilled with specialist sand (which can be supplied) at a rate of 10mm per square metre.  Please note we offer a full fitting service and FREE site survey across the whole UK.
